Sadly, this app is poorly executed and barely functional. Ive tried to use it in several ways over the past week with disappointing results.
1. It was not able to carry my Hyatt Gold Passport over to the online checkout screen. You had to re-enter this number to look up the reservation that I had already logged in to view in the first place.
2. I just searched for a Hyatt hotel in Buffalo, NY. It gave me results all over the NYC area, including NJ, but no results in Buffalo. Id generally consider a 500 mile Uber to be an inconvenient distance from the buffalo airport. The Hyatt website processed this request without issue, showing multiple properties in buffalo.
3. I dont generally write reviews, but try to offer constructive feedback when I can. I tried to provide feedback in the app and was greeted by a blank screen, so here I am.
Disappointing, Hyatt. Some testing before release would be a good plan next time around.
